Phase One Rules:
All questions were prepared solely by the questioner, Flea Zhang. I had no prior knowledge of their content before filming.
My body was physically restrained, leaving language as my only means of response.
Therefore, every hesitation, speechless moment, repetition, and improvised answer you witness is a genuine, real-time reaction.
Phase Two Rules:
This segment was recorded half an hour after the end of Phase One. Physical restraints were removed, transitioning into a free conversation.
The questions discussed, including some repeated ones, were still prepared in advance by Flea Zhang, of which I remained unaware.
What follows documents the genuine state of language and reaction within a condition of physical freedom.
A moment, an Eternity.

Severed Paradox

Dec. 2025
On a treadmill, wearing a black dress, I continuously slash a piece of blue fabric with a knife until it is torn to shreds. I collect the fragments and place them in a transparent jar. The jar sits in the exhibition space like a quiet piece of evidence.
The motion is repetitive, the emotion accumulates. Blue transforms from wholeness to fragments, like a ritual with a clear beginning and end.

When a concept begins to grow.
It started as my own personal maintenance—encapsulating invisible internal contradictions into visible visual structures. Now, it wishes to become a container for more people.
TINA is not an art institution; it is a design outlet.
For all designers who remain alert within the commercial system yet have no place to channel their urge for expression.
We do not make art; we make another kind of deliverable: delivering honesty to ourselves, and delivering to the world a complete, unedited visual syntax—untouched by client revisions.
Format: Themed Collective Maintenance
Each season, we will propose a theme rooted in a genuine paradox.
Participants enter as designers, using the professional gestures you know best—typesetting, modeling, rendering, deconstructing, reconstructing—to process the theme.
What is presented in the end is not “art,” but a series of personalized system maintenance reports.
What we build together is not an exhibition, but an evidence archive:
Proof that design thinking can not only solve commercial problems but also sort out the order of life;
Proof that expression itself is a vital professional skill.
TINA
We encapsulate contradictions, we present structures.
We do not make art—we simply refuse to remain the one unresolved item within the system.ression itself is a vital professional skill.
